The Falcone mill

The Falcone mill is located in Contrada Santa Maria and is easily accessible through the SP 89/a.

According to sources of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage of Enna it dates back to 1829.
His condition is good, they even retain the traditional pitched roofs Sicilian tile roofs.
The feeding channel is shapeless stones, but the upper part of its wall is in tans well worked.
The size of the segments that make up the "tower" of vutti (barrel) is perfectly regular. Aside from the great interest that may arise from the rarity of the condition, special attention deserves the final part of the installation of sewage systems, not supported by a solid masonry but by a series of two beautiful, and perfectly intact, arches ogival profile, which also refer to our Arab architectural heritage memory.
