August 19 to 21 PatronaDal party place: Castellammare del Golfo feast of the patron StoricaMaria SS Commemoration. Del Soccorso, patron saint of Castellammare del Golfo, is celebrated on 19, 20 and 21 August of every year.
The first day features the impressive "procession to the sea" during which the statue of the Virgin, carried on the shoulders of the representatives of the sailors, departs from the fishing village and, after crossing the lanes citizens, comes to the Marina where it is placed on a boat festively decorated and taken in procession at sea, followed by the boats of the faithful and by fishermen who follow the path traced in water by thousands of candles.
On the third day, however, there is the "procession of the Earth", traveling this time from the mother church and winds through the main streets of the town. During the procession, the faithful sing in dialect dedicated to Madonna.Al the end of the castellammarese, Rosary procession, as soon as the statue returns to the mother church, start the Fireworks
